आईटीपीओ ने अपनी वेबसाइट पर आधिकारिक बयान में कहा, "कलम और मुद्रित दुनिया की शक्ति को दोहराने में दिल्ली पुस्तक मेला महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाता है, यह उत्सकुता से इंतजार कर रहे छात्रों, अध्यापकों, विद्वानों, लेखकों, बुद्धजीवियों, पुस्तकलायाध्यक्षों और पुस्तक प्रेमियों के लिए सबसे बड़ा बुक बोनान्जा है।"

  • 23वें दिल्ली पुस्तक मेलें का आयोजन 26 अगस्त से 3 सितंबर के मध्य प्रगति मैदान, नई दिल्ली में किया गया।
  • भारतीय प्रकाशक संघ के सहयोग से इंडिया ट्रेड प्रमोशन आर्गनाइजेशन (आईटीपीओ) द्वारा आयोजित किया गया।
  • मेले का उद्घाटन भारतीय व्यापार संवर्धन संगठन (आईटीपीओ) के कार्यकारी निदेशक दीपक कुमार (आईएएस) ने किया।
  • 23वें दिल्ली पुस्तक मेले की थीम- 'पढ़े भारत बढ़े भारत' 
  • फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन पब्लिशर्स (एफआईपी) पूर्व अध्यक्ष डॉ. अशोक गुप्ता ने कहा, "इस साल किताबों पर जीएसटी नहीं लगाई गई है, लेकिन लेखकों की रॉयल्टी पर 18 फीसदी जीएसटी लग जाने से पुस्तकों की खरीद पर मिलने वाली छूट पर भी इसका असर देखने को मिल सकता है।"
  • आईटीपीओ और एफआईपी पब्लिशर्स की ओर से 19वें स्टेशनरी मेले की भी प्रस्तुति की गई। रविवार शाम 4-7 बजे के बीच डायमंड पब्लिकेशन द्वारा कवि सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया गया है।

  5. Dr. Ashok Gupta, former president of the Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP) said, "GST has not been installed on books this year, but the impact of 18 per cent GST on writers' royalties is also seen on the rebate on books Can get. " 
  6. The 19th Stationary Fair was also presented on behalf of ITPO and FIP Publishers. A poet conference has been organized by Diamond Publication between 4-7 PM on Sunday evening.
